This course is aimed at those who want to create objects and characters for games. You will learn how to model low- and medium-polygon models, texturing, UV unwrapping, automatic and manual topology. The course also covers the basics of optimizing objects for game engines (Unreal, Unity).

What you will be able to do after completing the course:

  • Model game objects: weapons, furniture, characters, environments.
  • Create UV unwrapping and place textures correctly.
  • Use PBR materials and textures (diffuse, roughness, normal map, etc.).
  • Optimize models for game engines so that they look good and have a low load.
  • Prepare models for integration into the game or use for rendering.

Practical assignments:

  • Creating a low-poly character or object.
  • UV unwrapping and texturing of one or more objects.
  • Applying PBR materials.
  • Final project: a package of game models ready for use in the engine.

Format: online course with videos, practical cases, feedback from mentors — possible connection to game studios or portfolio development.

Duration: 10–14 weeks.

Price: approximately $1,500 depending on the depth of the course and teacher support.
